According to Washington Interscholastic Activities Association executive director Mike Colbrese, there’s a debate within the association over the financial sensibility of using the Tacoma Dome as the home venue for state championship football. “Our contract is up with the dome. I’m not so sure we’ll renew it,” said Colbrese, who joined new South Kitsap football coach Dan Ericson as a guest speaker at Wednesday’s Kitsap Athletic Roundtable gathering at the Cloverleaf Sports Bar and Grill in Bremerton.
