The 52nd annual Senior All-Star Baseball Game, sponsored by the Kitsap Athletic Roundtable, ended in a rare tie between the Nationals and Americans at the Lobe Field at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. The Americans scores two runs in the bottom of the 10th inning to tie the game at 15-15. North Mason senior Brenden Kimball and Chimacum’s Cole Dotson were named MVPs for their respective teams.
The 17th annual Softball Showcase played at the same time at the Fairgrounds ended in a 10-4 for the Nationals over the Americans. Bainbridge pitcher Malia Peato was named MVP for the Nationals team and Sara Smith of North Kitsap was MVP for the Americans.
