Jim Carlson, past president of the Kitsap Athletic Roundtable and former co-owner Bremerton’s Minder Meats, king of one-liners and a supporter of all the things that are good in a community, is gone. But the memories of him will live on for a long time. He died Sept. 4 at age 83. “He always helped me out with something,” said Bob Fredericks, one of the founders of the Kitsap Tennis & Athletic Center.
